New Home for the Grace Flight Simulator
We’re excited to share an important update within the AvioSim community: the Grace Flight Simulator has found a new home in Dronten.
The simulator is now housed at the Mechanisch Erfgoed Centrum in Dronten, a fitting location where aviation passion and technical heritage come together. This move marks a new chapter for the Grace simulator, making it more accessible to enthusiasts and visitors alike.
Experience the Grace Simulator
Once fully operational, visitors will have the opportunity to rent the Grace Flight Simulator for dedicated time slots. These sessions will be easy to book directly through our website at www.aviosim.org.
Our goal is to keep the experience accessible, with rental prices set at a generally low level. Any profits will go directly toward the maintenance and preservation of the simulator—ensuring it remains operational for years to come.
Stay Updated
We’ll be sharing regular updates on the progress of the Grace Flight Simulator via our Facebook page, Stichting Aviosim Nederland and on our website. From development milestones to behind-the-scenes insights, you’ll be able to follow the journey as everything comes together.
Looking for New Volunteers
As we prepare for opening, we will also begin welcoming new volunteers. These volunteers will play an important role in operating the simulator, guided by our experienced team—many of whom were involved in building the Grace or previously worked with it at NLR.
Plan Your Visit
The Grace Flight Simulator will be part of the museum experience at the Mechanisch Erfgoed Centrum. Visitors will need a standard museum entry ticket, which remains affordable. Parking at the location is free, making your visit even more convenient.
